The Bachelor of Arts in Geography, Environment and Natural Resources Management is designed to produce experts in the fields of Geography and Natural Resources Management. Students will acquire essential knowledge and skills to address cross-cutting issues aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including ending poverty, achieving zero hunger, and promoting sustainable management of natural resources.

This three-year programme leads to a Bachelor of Arts with Education degree, combining academic study with professional teacher training in arts subjects. Students pursue two academic disciplines such as Linguistics, Literature, Kiswahili, Geography, or History alongside core education courses. The programme emphasizes active, participatory teaching methods and the development of practical teaching skills, with microteaching and block teaching practice as key components. Additionally, it equips graduates with foundational knowledge, skills, and competencies in special needs education through dedicated special needs courses as listed below: Introduction to Special Needs Sign Language Braille Skills Inclusive Education

This three-year programme equips students with the knowledge and skills to critically examine the roles and responsibilities of accountants, marketers, entrepreneurs, procurement officers, human resource professionals, bankers, and other business practitioners in contemporary society. It prepares graduates to navigate the dynamic business environment with professionalism, innovation, and ethical responsibility.

The Bachelor of Education in Special Needs (BEDSN) programme aims at providing theoretical and practical skills to students. It is designed to equip students with an understanding of the various fields of special needs education, relevant key concepts, as well as educational policies, trends, settings, categories of disabilities and relevant interventions. The student-teachers will acquire specific knowledge and skills on how to diagnose, communicate and teach-cum-handle students with different disabilities and impairments.
